Cart Without Driver Spins Out of Control on Loyola Campus

A cart without a driver spun in circles on the Loyola University campus on Thursday morning before being stopped by the brute force of a campus police officer.

Video of the rogue cart published to YouTube quickly gained hundreds of views.

The three-and-a-half minute clip shows the cart rotating clockwise in front of a parking garage.

"Where is the guy who did this?" says a voice in the video.

A campus police officer came upon the scene, whipped out his baton, and busted out a window. The vehicle later appeared to slow, and the officer was able to stop it.

NBC Chicago reached out to Loyola University seeking comment but was unable to reach an official by Thursday evening.
