Woman Injured in Lincoln Park Shooting

No one in custody as of 6 a.m. Monday



    A woman suffered a graze wound during a shooting in the North Side Lincoln Park neighborhood early Monday.

    The 25-year-old woman was standing in a group after an argument with a male in the 1800 block of North Stockton Avenue at 1:05 a.m., police News Affairs Officer Amina Greer said.

    A vehicle pulled up, and the male retrieved a gun from the vehicle and fired shots, striking the woman in the abdomen, Greer said. The gunman then got in the vehicle, which sped off southbound.

    The woman refused medical attention, Greer said.

    No one was in custody as of 6 a.m. Monday.
