Kris Dunn Damages UC Floor With His Teeth During Scary Fall

Dunn dislocated his two front teeth and damaged the court during the fall

It was a scary moment for Kris Dunn and the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday night as the talented point guard fell face-first onto the floor after a dunk against the Golden State Warriors.

Dunn, who is averaging 13.7 points and 6.4 assists per game this season, slammed into the floor during the fourth quarter of the Bulls’ loss to the Warriors. Play was immediately halted as the point guard stayed on the ground for several minutes:

According to the Bulls, Dunn dislocated his two front teeth during the impact and cracked multiple teeth. He passed concussion tests, but the impact was so severe that he even damaged the United Center floor with his mouth.

“There was a good little chunk that he took out of the floor,” head coach Fred Hoiberg said. “Tough kid.”

After further testing Thursday, Dunn was placed into the NBA's concussion protocol, and will not travel with the team to Atlanta for Saturday's game against the Hawks.
