A teen relative of the 5-year-old twin boy who was shot while by his brother faces charges.

Antoine Heard, 17, of the 3000 block of West Arthington Street, has been charged with endangering a child and causing death, Chicago Police said Thursday.

Heard allegedly brought the gun that was used when Jonathan Jackson and his twin brother, Ja'Lin, played a deadly game of cops and robbers, family members said.

Family members confirm a relative brought the gun into the home but refused to identify the person.

Chicago Police said Heard turned himself in the day after the shooting.

In a press release, the department concluded the teen brought the handgun into the home located in the 700 block of South California Avenue.

Heard will appear in bond court Thursday.
