Joakim Noah may not have played a minute of basketball since January, but he’s still sporting a playoff beard – and what a beard it is.
The former Chicago Bull debuted an interesting new look on Instagram, posting a video of himself in what appeared to be some sort of jungle on Earth Day.
Captioned “Jah bless the earth,” the video shows Noah looking around an unidentified area of lush greenery, complete with a tropical plants and even a waterfall. [[480954281, C]]
While the locale was exotic, it was Noah’s bright blonde beard – a contrast to his still-brown, signature flowing locks – that stole the show. The video left fans with plenty of questions – none of which were answered in subsequent posts. [[480954361, C]]
After spending nine years in Chicago, the two-time All-Star signed a four-year, $72 million deal with the New York Knicks in 2016.
Noah played in just seven games this season, averaging 1.7 points and two rebounds per game.
