Jeremy Langford Leaves Game Against Cowboys with Ankle Injury

The Chicago Bears are already dealing with a plethora of injuries, but another starter is now added to that list, as Jeremy Langford suffered an ankle injury in Sunday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys.

Langford, who was the Bears’ starting running back, left the game in the third quarter and was carted off the field. The Bears termed him as “questionable” to return with what several reports have suggested could be an Achilles tendon injury.

Langford only managed three carries in Sunday’s game, but did rush for 31 yards in the contest. He was relieved by rookie Jordan Howard, who was drafted in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft.

The Bears also lost Harold Jones-Quartey for the game after the safety was injured on a hit in the second quarter.
