One person died Tuesday night in a traffic crash in west suburban Hillside, officials said.
The crash happened about 11:20 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 88 near Mannheim Road, Illinois State Police said, citing preliminary information.
Early reports indicated it was a one car crash, according to police.
The driver's name was not released as of 6 a.m. Wednesday.
