According to a new ranking released by a major national publication, Illinois is jam-packed full of great suburbs for families to call home.
The list, compiled by Business Insider, features two Illinois towns in the top five suburbs in America, as Clarendon Hills checks in at number three and Buffalo Grove comes in at number five.
In fact, a total of nine Illinois suburbs cracked the top 50, with Naperville nearly making the top ten with the 13th spot. Western Springs (23), Oak Park (24), Indian Head Park (27), Long Grove (29), Hinsdale (44), and Evanston (49) also made the cut on the list.
The best suburb in America is actually in Indiana, as Carmel checks in at number one. Fishers, a suburb of Indianapolis, ranks number 14.
The ranking took a variety of factors into account, including cost of living, school quality, crime rates, home prices, employment opportunities, and amenity access.
