Gary police on Thursday said they're investigating the shooting deaths of two young men, at least one of whom is teenager.

The pair were found dead when officers went to a home on the 1600 block of West 5th Avenue after receiving a call of shots fired, Gary Police Cpl. Gabrielle King said.

King said there was a gathering of people before the shooting, but she didn't have additional details.

A spokesperson from the Lake County Coroner's Office said one victim was 17 years old. The age of the second victim wasn't released by midday Thursday.
