Cops: Person Questioned in Fatal Hit-and-Run

The mangled bicycle the man was riding was still on the scene at 4:30 a.m. Monday.

A Forest Park Police Department spokesman said officers on Tuesday morning were questioning a "person of interest" in connection with the weekend fatal hit-and-run of a bicyclist.

No charges were filed as of 8 a.m.

Jeffery Schultz, 40, was riding in the right lane of Harlem Avenue near 14th Street on Sunday night when he was hit from behind.

Anyone with information should call the Forest Park Police Department at 708-366-2425.
