Chicago police said they're looking for a man who reportedly exposed himself to a young girl in the city's Logan Square neighborhood.

The girl, whose age was not provided, said she was walking west on the 3500 block of West Armitage Avenue at about 8:45 Wednesday morning when someone in a red van pulled up beside her. A man in the passenger seat then exposed himself to her before the van drove off west on Armitage, police said in a community alert.

The man was described as Hispanic, light-skinned and between 30 and 40 years old. He had a goatee and was wearing a baseball cap backwards with the snaps on the front, police said.

The vehicle was a red cargo van with a black stripe along the bottom. It also had some rust, police said.

Anyone with information on the man is asked to call Area North detectives at 312-492-3810.
