A large fire has broken out at a fast food restaurant in suburban Aurora, leading authorities to ask residents to avoid the area.
The fire reportedly broke out at the McDonald’s, located in the 1000 block of North Lake, on Thursday afternoon. Footage of the scene shows large flames leaping from the building as firefighters battle the blaze.
Motorists are being asked to avoid Lake Street/Route 31 between Indian Trail and Illinois Avenue as crews battle the fire, according to Aurora Police.
