Escaped Prisoners Have Chicago, Milwaukee Connections

Miguel Robles-Moya is from Chicago; Rodney Brown arrested in Milwaukee

Authorities say they have few clues as they hunt for three federal prisoners who bolted from a detention center near the southern Illinois town of Ullin.

Among the trio is 35-year-old Miguel Robles-Moya of Chicago, who may have connections here and in northern Indiana.  He was being held on immigration charges.

Rodney Brown, 35, of Alton, was being held on a weapons charge. He has been arrested in Milwaukee, TV station WISN reported, and may have connections there and in Rockford.

Brown has slipped out of jail before.  He and another man climbed over a fence in the recreation area of the Morris County Jail in Texas on Aug. 13, 2006 while he was serving a 60-year prison term.

Twenty-eight-year-old drug defendant Thomas Glaab of Anna has relations in southern Illinois.

Chief Deputy U.S. Marshal Karen Simons said Thursday that authorities don't know if the men stayed together.

The U.S. Marshals Service isn't saying how the men escaped Wednesday from the Tri-County Detention Center in Pulaski County but considers them armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information about the men should call U.S. Marshals at 618-482-9336.
