A Tuesday afternoon shooting in Chicago's Englewood neighborhood left one man dead and two other people injured.

The shooting happened at 4 p.m. near the intersection of 70th Street and Parnell Avenue, according to police.

An 18-year-old man was fatally shot in the chest, while a 17-year-old boy was shot in the abdomen area and hospitalized in critical condition, authorities said. The Cook County Medical Examiner’s office confirmed the fatality, but were not releasing further details.

An 87-year-old man who suffered a graze wound to his right arm appears to be an innocent bystander, police said.

The shooting may have been a drive-by.

Wentworth Area detectives are investigating.
