NBC Chicago

Rescue crews on Tuesday responded to a construction site in west suburban Elmhurst amid a report of a person pinned under a truck.

Elmhurst Police said a dump truck tipped over around 11:45 a.m. at a site on the 400 block of South Spring Road.

The driver of the vehicle was trapped inside the cab for more than two hours.

Police said the man was conscious and alert when he was taken to Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital.

The name of the man was not immediately released.

From the sky, NBC Chicago's helicopter could see the dump truck turned onto its side.
