A Lakeview man is wanted on charges he left racist, expletive-laden phone messages for Cook County Comissioner Deborah Sims.

"I hope you get **** AIDS and die.  I pray to God you get AIDS and die.  You **** liar.  You're a **** liar," the caller said on one Sept. 2 message, left after Sims voted against a measure that would have slightly reduced the county sales tax.

Authorities didn't reveal how they tracked him down, but telephone harassment charges have been filed against 55-year-old Donald Stroh.

The sheriff's office said his last known address is in the 3400 block of North Broadway in Chicago, but he is known to have lived at several locations in the Lakeview neighborhood as well as suburban Lincolnwood and Itasca, CBS 2 Chicago reported.  He may also have ties to the Pacific Northwest.

Stroh has no known ties to Sims or any other elected officials, the sheriff's office said.
