Chicago Bulls fans had mixed reactions when the team traded point guard Derrick Rose last offseason, but how would they react to a return from the former NBA MVP?
That is a question that fans may very well have to grapple with, as a new report has come out indicating that the Bulls are one of the teams that Rose is interested in playing for next season.
That report, which came from USA Today’s Sam Amick, indicates that the Bulls have spoken to Rose’s agent B.J. Armstrong, and that they are one of three teams in the mix to sign him.
Reports from ESPN indicated that the Cleveland Cavaliers are pushing hard to sign Rose to a one-year contract, which would establish him as the back-up point guard to Kyrie Irving as the Cavaliers try to overcome the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference.
Other reports have linked Rose to the Los Angeles Lakers, who reportedly want to talk to him again before he agrees to a deal with the Cavaliers.
Rose is expected to make his decision this weekend, according to reports.
