Just months after Chicago White Sox pitcher Danny Farquhar suffered a brain hemorrhage during a game at Guaranteed Rate Field, he took another huge step forward in his recovery. 

Posting on social media, Farquhar revealed that he's been starting a light throwing program: 

Farquhar has made incredible strides forward since that scary night at the ballpark earlier this year. After spending nearly three weeks in intensive care, Farquhar was healthy enough to throw out the first pitch before a game earlier this month, and is now clearly taking more steps forward as he looks to return to a big league mound. 

According to doctors, there is a chance that Farquhar could pitch again in the big leagues, but he has been ruled out for the remainder of this season.
