Kris Bryant to Miss Third Straight Game for Cubs

For the third game in a row, Chicago Cubs third baseman Kris Bryant is out of the team’s lineup as they prepare to face the Milwaukee Brewers.

Bryant, who was hit in the head by a pitch during Sunday’s game against the Colorado Rockies, missed both of the team’s games against the Cleveland Indians, and once again will be out as he continues to recover from the injury.

The Cubs say that Bryant is still day-to-day, and that he passed all concussion tests after he was hit.

Tommy La Stella is slated to play third base and bat fifth for the Cubs, and Kyle Schwarber will bat second as they take on their divisional rivals.
