A woman on Chicago's south side was seriously injured when bullets fired outside blasted through the walls of her home.
Police said the 40-year-old was hit several times inside her home on the 8800 block of South May a little after 10 p.m. Wednesday.
The woman was in serious condition at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn as of 6 a.m.
Officers said they found at least six shell casings outside the home.
