Four people who were shot on Chicago's south side on Monday night should be OK.
The man, two women and a teenage girl were all shot about 10:40 p.m. in the 6700 block of South Stony Island Avenue, police said. All four were standing in front of the strip mall when a four-door, white car circled around and someone inside opened fire, police said.
A 16-year-old girl was shot in the leg and taken to John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County. An 18-year-old woman suffered a graze wound to the abdomen and declined medical attention. A 22-year-old woman was shot in the neck and taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, and a 26-year-old man was shot in the leg and taken to Stroger Hospital, police said.
Police said each of their conditions had stabilized by Tuesday morning and that all of their injuries were not life-threatening.
