Chicago Police Seek Public's Help in Solving Hit and Run

Chicago police are looking for help in solving a hit and run incident that left a pedestrian seriously injured.

The collision occurred in the 2000 block of South Emerald Avenue in the city’s East Pilsen neighborhood at approximately 1:23 p.m. on Dec. 4, according to police. The vehicle was heading southbound on Emerald Avenue when it struck the pedestrian, and the car left the scene without stopping.

A description of the car wasn’t made available by police, but they are hoping that a witness to the accident will come forward to try and help identify the vehicle involved.
