The producer of Broadway musical “Hamilton” announced Tuesday a day-of-show lottery for tickets to be held on Sept. 27.
The lottery will occur for every performance offering 44 tickets at $10 a piece, according to a news release, with some seats in the front row as well as the boxes.
Eager fans can enter the lottery for a maximum of two tickets by visiting the production’s website and clicking “Enter Now.” Aspiring ticketholders, who will have 60 minutes to pay for tickets each lottery online, will be notified via email if they have won a ticket or not “within minutes,” the release says.
Lottery prices include a $3 fee, are nontransferable and patrons must be 18 years or older with a photo ID matching the name used to enter the lottery.
“Hamilton” is based on founding father Alexander Hamilton and features a musical score blending hip-hop, jazz, blues, rap, R&B and Broadway.
