Chicago Fire Star David Accam Scores Awesome Goal vs. Orlando

The Chicago Fire went into Saturday’s match against Orlando SC at Toyota Park trying to keep their eight game unbeaten streak alive, and David Accam made sure that their effort got off to a great start with a spectacular goal.

The goal, which came just two minutes into the match, featured some deft passing by Bastian Schweinsteiger and Matt Polster, but it was Accam’s amazing finish on a back-heel kick in front of the neck that capped the play off:

Accam wasn’t done either, as he scored another goal just over six minutes later to pick up his first career brace and give the Fire an early 2-0 lead over Orlando.

The Fire have not lost an MLS match since they fell to the New York Red Bulls in late April. Since then, the Fire have won six matches and have raced all the way to second place in the Eastern Conference.

If they can beat Orlando on Saturday, they will move to within a point of Toronto FC in the table.
