Cubs, Indians Show ‘Serious' Class on Twitter Ahead of Game 1 of World Series

The Chicago Cubs and Cleveland Indians are about to face off in one of the most anticipated World Series ever, but before it begins, both teams are starting things out with some "serious" class.

The Cubs started the peace offering by tweeting “@Indians Hey, before things get all serious on here, congratulations and good luck this series.”

The Indians replied by saying, “@Cubs same to you friends!”

They added, however, “but what does ‘serious’ mean?”

Earlier in the day, things seemed to take a not-so-nice turn when the Indians tweeted at the Cubs, “Do ya’ll have a beef with the Cardinals? Their fans keep @’ing us, telling us how much they love us.”

The two teams are set to square off in Game 1 of the World Series Tuesday night in Cleveland.
