Latest Snowfall Totals From Across Chicago Area Sunday

Over three inches of snow has already fallen in some locations

What to Know

  • Up to five inches of snow is possible in some locations that are impacted by a Winter Weather Advisory.
  • DeKalb, LaSalle, McHenry, and Lake counties are under a Winter Weather Advisory into the overnight hours.

Snow is continuing to fall across the Chicago-area as a Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for counties west and north of the city.

That advisory includes McHenry, Lake, DeKalb, and LaSalle counties. Those areas could see a good amount of snow Sunday, with up to five inches possible in some places before the system finally moves out during the overnight hours.

Snow could be more intense near the lake, according to the NBC 5 Storm Team.

Morton Grove: 2.4 inches 

Northbrook 3.8 inches

O'Hare International Airport: 1.6 inches 

Palatine: 3.5 inches 

DuPage County:

Bloomingdale 1.5 inches

Kane County:

Batavia 1.6 inches

Lake County (IL):

Highwood 3.5 inches

Libertyville 2.8 inches

Ogle County:

Byron 3.5 inches 

Leaf River 5 inches 

Rochelle 1.3 inches

Winnebago:

Cherry Valley 2.9 inches

Loves Park 4 inches 

Rockford 2.6 inches
