Baez, Cubs' Twitter Account Have Fun Despite Game 3 Loss

The Chicago Cubs are now trailing three games to none in the NLCS against the Los Angeles Dodgers, but that's not stopping the team from having some fun.

During the game, a blowout victory for the Dodgers, star Yasiel Puig hammered a ball off the left field wall. As he sprinted toward second base, Kyle Schwarber played the ball perfectly, and fired a strike to the bag to get him out.

Needless to say, Javier Baez was thrilled:

True to form, the Cubs' social media gurus had fun with the moment, turning it into a clever tweet of their own as the team lost badly.

"When you're thinking about reading the mentions," the tweet's caption says.

Unfortunately for the Cubs, no amount of humor will be enough to change their predicament, as they trail 3-0 in the best of seven series and will face elimination on Wednesday night at Wrigley Field.
