Aldi's Popular Wine, Cheese Advent Calendars Coming to U.S.

After they were a huge hit in the United Kingdom last year, wine Advent calendars will be hitting store shelves at Aldi locations in the United States this holiday season.

The calendars, available for $69.99, will be sold for a limited time beginning on Nov. 7, the company confirmed to NBC 5. The calendar will feature 24 different mini-bottles of wine, including red, white, rose, and bubbles options from various regions around the world.

Shoppers can search for participating stores on Aldi’s website.

Grocery store chain Aldi is adding 700 stores and will add a whole host of new fresh produce and products as part of a massive expansion plan.

For those celebrants who aren’t fans of wine, there is another option, as stores will also offer a Cheese Advent Calendar, the company says. Those calendars will also go on sale Nov. 7, and will cost $12.99.

The calendars will include 24 imported mini-cheeses, including cheddar and Gouda, according to the company.
