A troupe of zombies plan to attend a health care town hall meeting organized by U.S. Rep. Jan Schakowsky for Monday night.

The "zombies" make up a protest movement called "Universal Single Payer Health Care is the Only Way to Stop the Zombie Apocalypse.""

The activists, dressed like the undead, will slowly descend on Niles West High School in Skokie to demand a public option for health care at 6 p.m. They should be quite a sight for the expected standing room only crowd.

In June, Schakowsky announced she would seek re-election to her U.S. House seat, passing up a bid for the U.S. Senate. She has served in the House since 1999 and is a member of the House Energy and Commerce Committee and the Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence.
