Wrigleyville Brawl, Shots Fired Caught On Camera

Cellphone footage captured a brawl that ended in a man firing a gun only blocks from Wrigley Field on Chicago’s North Side early Sunday morning, according to video obtained by CWBChicago

Cliff Cash and his wife live across the street and were woken up by their 8-year-old son when it happened about 3 a.m.

“I’ve never seen anything like that over here. Ever,” He said.

Chicago Police are looking for the man, who witnesses say fired the gun, saying he’s wanted for armed robbery.

Ald. Tom Tunney says he’s concerned about the neighborhood safety.

“The entertainment detail has been on Clark, Halsted and Sheffield,” he said. “Those are our hotspots, have been for years.”

Some neighbors feel threatened enough to move, but others say they will stay.

“We’re shaken up and going to take some steps,” said Edward Foo. “Steve’s getting security cameras up here.”

Steve Henry, Foo’s friend, says if someone sees a camera they might think twice about doing something.
