A 26-year-old Woodstock man who served as his wife's pimp was charged with murder after shooting the man who arranged to meet his wife for sex.

Timothy Smith, 26, of the 4300 block of Doty Road, faces charges of first-degree murder, aggravated discharge of a firearm, pandering, obstructing justice and pimping, the Chicago Tribune reports.

Police found the victim, Kurt Milliman of Prairie Grove, with a gunshot wound to his torso inside the Smiths' house on Doty Road. Milliman, who later died, had responded to a Craigslist ad to meet Kimberly Smith, according to the Tribune.

Officers were called to the home around 11 p.m. Sunday. They said a fight took place at the house and Milliman was shot. He was pronounced dead at Centegra Woodstock Memorial Hospital.

Kimberly Smith, 28, was charged with prostitution, obstructing justice and disorderly conduct.
