Photo of Woman's Sneaky Inscription on Husband's Wedding Ring Goes Viral

An image of four words a Michigan woman slipped onto her husband's wedding band has gone viral.

Daniel and Amanda Tallman, of Lake Orion will celebrate their fifth anniversary in July.

When they decided to tie the knot, Amanda surprised Dan with a wedding ban with a hilarious inscription that reads: Put it back on.

A friend posted a photo of the ring on Reddit Tuesday where the image has gotten over 900,000 views.

"My best friend's wife had this engraved into his wedding ring. They have an awesome hilarious marriage and this is just a slice of her humor," the photo was captioned.

"I found out about the viral picture on Tuesday morning," Daniel Tallman told NBC Chicago. "My groomsman and lifetime friend Jordan Goddard posted it on Reddit on Monday night without me knowing.

"He sent me a text message on Tuesday morning while I was at work telling me that it was going viral," Tallman added. "I had no idea what he was talking about but he filled me in quickly."

Tallman said his wife slipped a note to a jeweler at G & H Jewelry in California, Maryland. He has enjoyed how well the photo has been received online.

"The response has been outrageous, but it's good to have a happy, fun story in the news," Tallman told NBC Chicago.
