A 33-year-old woman found herself being booked into the county jail last week after police discovered a concealed weapon in her "intimate area."
Aisha N. McClinton was coming to the Stateville Correctional Center to visit a man serving a life sentence for murder, the Chicago Sun-Times reports. Initially, McClinton refused to let police search her car, but she changed her mind. One officer found cannabis under her seat, while another officer found something else.
The officer saw a 9mm handgun come up from McClinton's waistband, court records say. Police say the firearm appeared to be concealed in a private area of McClinton's anatomy.
McClinton was convicted on weapons charges and sentenced to 120 days in jail and two years probation.
