UPDATE: Man Released After Questioning by Police

A 67-year-old woman died in a hit-and-run crash early Christmas morning in Logan Square.

The victim was identified as 67-year-old Obduila Villalobos.

Police say the driver of a 2000 Chevrolet Blazer was travelling the wrong way in the 2600 block of North Pulaski Road at about 4:45 a.m. and crashed into the passenger's side of a Volkswagon Golf.

Villalobos was riding in the back seat of the Golf, and her 25-year-old daughter was driving. The victim was taken to a local hospital where she was declared dead. A third man, who was sitting in the passenger's side, was not seriously injured.

Police say the driver of the Blazer fled the scene.
