The woman was on foot in traffic on the expressway near Irving and Pulaski roads when she was stuck, according to Fire Media Affairs Chief Joe Roccasalva.

A woman is recovering in the hospital after an accident on the Kennedy Expressway on the Northwest Side.
The woman was on foot in traffic on the expressway near Irving and Pulaski roads when she was stuck, according to Fire Media Affairs Chief Joe Roccasalva.
She was then taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center in critical condition, Roccasalva said.
District Chicago Illinois State Police were unable to provide additional details on the incident Saturday afternoon.
