A 20-year-old woman escaped sexual assault after two men in ski masks grabbed her and carried her into an alley in Little Village, attempting to perform a sex act Friday night, police said in a community alert.

The two men grabbed the woman from behind around 10 p.m. near the 2400 block of South Homan Avenue. The men then carried her to an alley and attempted to sexually assault her when two other men came on the scene and began arguing with her attackers.

The woman was then able to escape, the alert said.

One attacker is described as 5 feet 4 inches, 130-140 pounds and wearing a black hooded sweater, blue baggy pants and a half ski mask with black gym shoes.

The second attacker was described as Hispanic, 5 feet 7 inches, 150-160 pounds and wearing a black hooded sweater, black baggy pants, half a ski mask and black gym shoes.

Anyone with information is asked to call Area Central detectives at (312) 747-8380.
