It might have been an attempt to kiss and make-up, but it didn't end that way after a woman reportedly bit off a part of her boyfriend's tongue when he tried to kiss her after an argument.
Judge Israel Desierto odered 51-year-old Elaine Cook on a $100,000 bail in bond court Sunday, according to the Chicago Tribune.
Cook and her boyfriend of 10 months got in a fight after they went out for Valentine's Day last week and when the 47-year-old man tried to give her a kiss and end the fight, Cook allegedly bit off a chunk of his tongue.
The man reportedly put the piece of tongue on ice and called 911, but medics could not reattach it.
Cook was charged with felony aggravated domestic battery, the Tribune reported.
