Will Ferrell Makes Surprise Appearance as Harry Caray on the “Late Show with David Letterman”

Will Ferrell’s Harry Caray made his final appearance on the “Late Show with David Letterman” Monday night.

The comedian made a surprise entrance as the late Chicago Cub’s announcer from the show’s audience before launching himself on stage.

“I think it’s really going to be an outstanding year for the Cubs!” Ferrell shouted from his seat, donning Caray’s signature oversized black-framed glasses and white hair.

The “Late Show with David Letterman” will air its final show on May 20.

Ferrell’s portrayal of Caray first gained popularity during his seven seasons on “SNL.”

The spoof lasted about four minutes before wrapping up with a Cubs rendition of “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” as the audience sang along.
