In a corresponding move, Chicago purchased the contract of right-handed reliever Junior Guerra from Triple-A Charlotte

The Chicago White Sox placed left-handed reliever Dan Jennings on the 15-day disabled list due to inflammation on the left side of his neck prior to their game Sunday against the Detroit Tigers.

Jennings, 28, is 1-2 with a 7.83 ERA in 22 appearances. The move is retroactive to June 5.

In a corresponding move, Chicago purchased the contract of right-handed reliever Junior Guerra from Triple-A Charlotte.

Guerra, 30, has never appeared in a big-league game and was 2-6 with a 2.72 ERA in 12 games between Charlotte and Double-A Birmingham.
