West Side Fire Displaces 10

A fire broke out in a three-story home on Chicago's West Side early Thursday morning.

A fire tore through a West Side home Thursday morning, displacing 10 residents.

The fire broke out after 5:30 a.m. in the South Austin neighborhood at 211 N. Lacrosse. No injuries were reported as firefighters controlled the blaze and finished their search of the residence's first and second floors.

The displaced residents were relocated to warming buses as officials investigated the cause of the fire.
