Warmer Weather In Store for NFL Draft Weekend

Temps could climb to 70s and 80s later this week

NFL Draft season isn't the only thing heating up Chicago.

A much warmer weekend is ahead with highs in the 70s and sunshine to look forward to Friday through Sunday, according to NBC 5 weather models.

After a chilly and cool start to the week, temperatures are expected to pick up in the second half.

Thursday will see mostly sunny skies and breezy weather in the upper 50s and lower 60s inland, making a pleasant day for the first round of the Draft.

A warming trend continues into Friday with mostly to partly sunny skies and temperatures climbing to 65 to 70 degrees.

The warm-up continues well into NFL Draft weekend with high temps that could possibly hit the 80s Saturday and Sunday.

There’s a chance for a few showers and a little humidity Saturday and Sunday, but the outlook is good overall for those planning on partaking in NFL Draft festivities around town.
