Visitation Today for Teacher Killed in Train Accident

Investigators blamed her death on human error

Visitation is scheduled for a dance teacher who was killed when an Amtrak train struck her SUV at a suburban Chicago railroad crossing.

Katie Lunn, 26, was killed April 16. The SUV she was driving was hit by a train in University Park, outside of Chicago as she was returning home after a dance competition.

It appears that train operators turned off the gates and warning lights prior to the teacher's death.

Investigators called it "human error."

Visitation is planned for Friday at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Fort Dodge, Iowa, LUnn's hometown. Funeral services are planned Saturday at the same location.
