Vince Vaughn Lists Penthouse for $18.4 Million

The actor ranks third for most expensive asking price in Chicago area

Vince Vaughn put his 12,000-square-foot Michigan Avenue penthouse on the market last week for $18.4 million.

The 19-room triplex sits atop the Palmolive building and includes five bedrooms, four full baths and four half baths, according to the Chicago Tribune.

One floor is dedicated to formal entertaining and the other to family quarters, according to the Tribune. The top floor includes a screening room, an entertainment area, a game room, kitchen, and a large terrace.

Perhaps one of the penthouse's greatest assets is the original, restored office that once belonged to Playboy CEO Hugh Hefner. Vaughn, 42, bought the triplex for $12 million in 2006, according to the Tribune.

This is the third largest asking price of a residence in the Chicago area. Donald Trump takes the cake with a $32 million asking price for his penthouse in Trump Tower. Michael Jordan follows closely behind, asking $29 million for his 18-room mansion in Highland Park.

Vaughn also owns a town home in River North, which he bought in 2005 for $1.4 million.
