Video Shows Taxi Crash into Restaurant

Surveillance video shows the taxi knocking a customer's table across the room

More than a month after a taxi cab slammed into a Wicker Park restaurant and injured a customer, surveillance video of the incident shows the scary scene.

Video of the crash from inside Prasino, 1846 W. Division St., was sent to Eater Chicago restaurant blog over the weekend. It shows a lone customer sitting at a window table and the taxi plowing through the facade, knocking the woman's table across the room.

The vehicle crashed into Prasino around 10 a.m. Nov. 3. The restaurant wasn't crowded at the time, but the customer suffered some minor injuries. She was taken to Saints Mary and Elizabeth Medical Center and released.

The business opened for business in Wicker Park in August. The taxi cab driver involved in the crash called a cab to pick him up.
