Unanswered 911 Call Leads To Pot Arrest

A 911 call led to an Indiana couple being charged for growing marijuana.

When a Indiana State Police trooper went to check  on a 911 hang-up call, he definitely ended up making an arrest. Of the couple living in the home.

Dispatchers said no one was on the other end of call from the home of Mark and Becky Friedersdorf.

When a trooper showed up to check on the Friedersdorf family at their home about 90 miles north of Indianapolis Friday, he smelled a strong odor in the house. Of marijuana.

Upon further inspection, he allegedly found 10 marijuana plants hanging up to dry in a bedroom closet. A later search warrant reportedly uncovered another 72 marijuana plants, hydroponic growing equipment, several weapons, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia in the basement.

Mark and Becky Friedersdorf now face drug-related charges.
