A Mother's Day cookout turned violent in Chicago's Park Manor neighborhood.

Police say children began fighting Sunday night in the 7300 block of South Langley Avenue on the city's South Side. A 26-year-old woman got involved, stabbing two other women with a knife. One woman was stabbed in the back, the other in her arm and hand, police say.

Both victims are listed in stable condition. The woman with the knife is in police custody, the Chicago Tribune reports. No charges have yet been filed.
