Two women were shot in the Back of the Yards neighborhood on the South Side late Friday.
The women, thought to be in their 20s, were shot at about 10:20 p.m. in the 4500 block of South Marshfield, police said.
One was struck in the hip and taken to Stroger Hospital, and the other suffered graze wounds to the buttocks and thumb, police said. It wasn’t immediately known if the second woman was hospitalized.
Their conditions and details on the circumstances of the shooting weren’t immediately available.
