Two juveniles were injured in a shooting on Michigan Avenue in the Washington Park neighborhood Monday afternoon, police said.
The two victims were standing in the hallway of a building when they were approached by several offenders who then shot them. The incident happened around 4:43 p.m. in the 5600 block of S. Michigan Avenue.
One of the victims was shot in the chest and taken to Comer Children's Hospital. The other was shot in the left hand, according to police news affairs.
The offenders fled on foot after the incident. Police are investigating.
