    A two-year-old girl is recovering tonight after she fell from a fourth story window when it was left cracked open. (Published Saturday, May 31, 2014)

    The young girl fell from the window of a building in the 2000 block of South Racine Avenue around 8:40 p.m. Friday and landed on shrubbery below, police said.

    She was taken to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County where her condition was stabilized.

    Police said no charges were expected as the incident appeared to be an accident.
