It's the season for fun cocktails to celebrate the end of the year and toast to the next.
Whether hosting a party or looking for a gift to give the host, Mixologist Bidget Albert, of wine importing company Mionetto, suggests a bottle of prosecco.
"Prosecco is an Italian sparkling wine that comes from north of Venice," said Albert.
The sparkling wine paired with fresh ingrients can make a great punch for party guests to use while mingling and toasting to the host. Albert shared her Holiday Cheer Punch Recipe with NBC News as an example. She advised that prepping in advance to make drinks in large batches can be more efficient.
Here is the recipe for Albert's Holiday Cheer Punch.
1 cup gin
1 cup pineapple juice
½ cup fresh lemon juice
1 cup double brewed hibiscus tea
3 cups Mionetto Prosecco Brut
10 shakes of Angostura bitters
Add all ingredients to an ice filled punch bowl.
Garnish with lemon wheels, lime wheels, and seasonal berries or edible flowers.
